Maybe it's a fear of being hurt, abandoned or any number of feelings a cat may feel.
It could be the only way she knows how to survive.
What ever the reason, Kenya is having a hard time learning to trust.
This hopefully will change with time, patience, love and understanding.
Living on the streets would give anyone a reason to be leery of others.
Kenya accepts other cats as part of her family.
She seems to look over them as if they were her own.
She seems to look over them as if they were her own.
It's as if she is trying to give them a sense of security and belonging.
Maybe she knows what it's like to be unwelcome.
Maybe she just has a very nurturing way and genuinely cares for the foster kitties around her.

I do not see mean in her eyes.
I see uncertainty and perhaps a longing to be free of the fear she may feel.

This beautiful girl will need a one of a kind person. Someone with an understanding of her needs.
A person who sees past the hopefully temporary need for space.
Can see how sweet and kind and loving her nature is.. Even though it may take awhile for her to let down the barriers and walls she has created to survive in a world that is not always kind, and people who are not always loving.

She needs and deserves the chance to be the kind of kitty that I can see in her eyes.
All she needs it the right person..

The cats would like to hear from the humans.
